Ordo Eudaimoniae, the Eudaimonic Order, is a decentralized, leaderless fellowship dedicated to human flourishing as a civilizational project.

Its principles are open. Its purpose is public. There is no supreme council, hidden doctrine, or central authority that decides who belongs.

Civilization is something people build. What has been built can be rebuilt.

Every person should have the material and intellectual freedom to become the author of their own life. Technology should expand human autonomy. Abundance should reduce compulsory labor. Institutions should support flourishing rather than control people.

Humanity is part of Gaia, the living planetary system that produced and sustains us. Progress means protecting the conditions of life and learning to become responsible stewards of the world we inherited.

Understand the systems that shape your life well enough to question them. Treat knowledge as responsibility. Use technology to expand freedom rather than concentrate power. Build systems that leave people with more control over their own lives.

Ordo Eudaimoniae does not require uniformity. Individuals and groups can work independently, form circles, build projects, and develop their own practices around shared principles.

Leadership belongs to the work that requires it. Expertise matters. Competence matters. Leadership does not make one person sovereign over another.

The Order exists wherever its principles are practiced. It has no headquarters that contains it and no officer who owns it. Its symbols, traditions, and rituals may carry meaning, but none replaces individual judgment.

There is no secret teaching behind the public one.

Learn how things work. Question what you inherit. Protect the sovereignty of others. Care for Gaia. Build systems that make domination less necessary and flourishing easier to sustain.

The horizon is larger than any one generation. The same ethic that asks us to care for Gaia today may someday guide us in engineering habitats, tending other worlds, restoring ecosystems on planetary scales, and carrying life beyond Earth.

Become difficult to dominate and unwilling to dominate others.

Learn enough to recognize what is possible, then act on that knowledge.

No one needs to appoint you.
